What makes Taronga something special is its location. It is situated on elevated land along the waterfront, in one of the most beautiful vantage points on Sydney Harbour overlooking Sydney Cove, the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. Taronga Zoo is approximately 12 minutes by ferry from Circular Quay and the city center. A visit to the Sanctuary is a great opportunity for you to view native Australian animals in natural settings.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is home to one of the world’s largest collections of Australian Animals featuring over 1500 individual animals from over 200 species! Enjoy having a photo taken with a koala, feed a kangaroo, Aboriginal Dancers and a variety of shows.

A Translink bus runs from the Gold Coast Convention Center (Adjacent to Jupiter’s Casino) to the sanctuary about every 30 minutes. Fare is about $3.40 AUD and Admission to the Sanctuary Adult 32.00 AUD and Children $21.00AUD.
