Day 1. Arrive Launceston, Freedom of Choice
Be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. Explore the city on a guided tour, then enjoy your selected touring activity. Perhaps explore the underwater wonders of Seahorse World, or see the elusive platypus at Platypus World. Tour the Beaconsfield Mine & Heritage Centre, visit the historic James Boag’s Brewery or indulge in high tea at your hotel. Later, delight in a Welcome Dinner and Drink.

Day 2. Bridestowe Lavender Farm, East Coast Natureworld, Freycinet National Park
This morning, pass through the scenic wine-producing area of northern Tasmania. At Bridestowe Lavender Farm, take a guided tour of its distillery and sample unique lavender-enhanced fare. Traverse Weldborough Pass and stop at East Coast Natureworld to meet a rare Tasmanian Devil. Then travel to Freycinet National Park and take a guided walk along Cape Tourville, admiring the scenery. Later, enjoy a Gourmet BBQ overlooking Coles Bay (weather permitting).

Day 3. Freycinet National Park, Richmond, Tasman National Park, Port Arthur
After breakfast, explore World Heritage-listed Freycinet National Park and perhaps take a walk to the Wineglass Bay lookout. Continue to charming Richmond, and spend some time to exploring this heritage town. Afterwards, take in dramatic coastal scenes from the narrow peninsula of Eaglehawk Neck as you travel to Tasman National Park and see the Tessellated Pavement, Devils Kitchen and Tasman Arch. This evening, enjoy dinner in the historic town of Port Arthur.

Day 4. Port Arthur Historic Site, Hobart, Freedom of Choice
Explore the Port Arthur Historic Site, once Australia’s most notorious convict prison, on a guided tour. See the famous sandstone Penitentiary, visit the Convict Church, and hear your footsteps echo as you walk through the eerie Separate Prison. Then cruise around the Isle of the Dead and hear haunting stories about the convicts that were buried there. Later, arrive in Hobart and visit the city’s charming Botanical Gardens. Tonight, choose from a range of restaurants for dinner.

Day 5. Hobart, Salamanca Market, Freedom of Choice
This morning, explore the vibrant Salamanca Market and peruse the treasures of Tasmania at more than 300 stalls. Afterwards, select your preferred sightseeing activity. You may like to walk among the treetops at the Tahune Air Walk, explore the acclaimed Museum of Old & New Art, or embark on one of two walking tours. Then enjoy the rest of the day to spend at leisure.

Day 6. Russell Falls, Lake St Clair, Strahan
Discover the magic of Russell Falls, the jewel in the crown of Mt Field National Park. Next, continue to the pristine World Heritage-listed Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park. Visit The Wall in the Wilderness, before travelling to the mining town of Queenstown then Strahan. Tonight, enjoy views of the harbour while dining at View 42° Restaurant and Bar.

Day 7. Gordon River Cruise
Board the luxury Lady Jane Franklin II ship and cruise the secluded wilderness highway, the Gordon River. From the comfort of the Captain’s Premier Upper Deck, glide along Macquarie Harbour and through Hells Gates before entering the Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park. You’ll be in awe at the stillness of the landscape and its impenetrable rainforest – a true image of the island’s west. Enjoy a gourmet lunch of local delicacies on board before cruising to World Heritage-listed Sarah Island, once Tasmania’s oldest convict settlement.

Day 8. Cradle Mountain, Dove Lake, Freedom of Choice

Day 9. Stanley, The Nut, The Tarkine, Smithton
Travel to Stanley, set in the shadow of The Nut. Next, journey through the dense rainforest of the Tarkine and stop at Sumac Lookout for dramatic views of the Arthur River. Be guided amid lush ferns, vibrant mosses and towering native trees before enjoying a glass of Tasmanian wine, and a slice of cake made with honey sourced from the Tarkine itself. Later, head to Smithton for an exclusive Tasmanian Fare Dinner.

Day 10. House of Anvers, Sheffield, Woolmers Estate, National Rose Garden
Travel to Devonport, then head to the House of Anvers for a special chocolate tour and tasting. Journey to the inland town of Sheffield where striking murals are painted on the town’s buildings. Continue to historic Woolmers Estate and the National Rose Garden.

Enjoy your last day exploring Cataract Gorge, a unique natural rock formation on the outskirts of Launceston. Later, transfer to the airport for your flight home.
