Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary (established in 1927) is the world’s first and largest koala sanctuary.

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is one of the best places to visit Australian native animals in a natural Aussie bush country setting. At Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary you can hug one of 130 cute koalas any time of the day (cuddling Koala’s is only legal in the state of Queensland). You can also hand feed friendly kangaroos & emus, see Tasmanian devils, wombats, dingoes, reptiles and more.
