Tasman Island & Port Arthur Tour

Travel to Tasmania and see these amazing sites!  Your first tour takes you on a full day adventure of the Tasman Peninsula & the Port Arthur Site. Aboard this award-winning 3 hour wilderness Cruise, you will see the staggering coastal landscapes, sandy beaches and historic sites of the Tasman Peninsula. Many of these sites are featured in LION where the main characters play cricket on the beach, sail and fish in and around this amazing area. This will truly be a highlight of your trip as your boat cruises into deep-sea caves, past waterfalls, archways and to the foot of Australia’s highest sea cliffs. Keep an eye out for seals, dolphins, migrating whales and sea birds! Then spend some time in and around Port Arthur, the infamous and allegedly escape-proof penal colony from the 19th century. These days the historic site is home to over 30 buildings, ruins and restored period homes set in 40 hectares of landscaped grounds. Hobart, Mt Wellington & Female Factory Tour

Included in this package is a morning tour to Mount Wellington.  Just like Saroo (Dev Patel) and Lucy (Rooney Mara) in LION, you’ll reach the top of the mountain and witness the panorama of Hobart spread out before you in a magnificent sight.  You’ll also see St. David’s Park, pass by Anglesa Barracks, see Cascade Valley, take in the massive rock formations of the Organ Pipes, stop at the Female Factory, a one time female prison, and see Macquarie Street.
